Trevor Zegras scored twice against his former team, lifting the Philadelphia Flyers to a 5-2 home victory over the slumping Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.

Cam York and Nikita Grebenkin each added a goal and an assist for Philadelphia, which has won five of its last seven games. Travis Sanheim also scored for the Flyers, while Dan Vladar made 16 saves.

Former Flyers prospect Cutter Gauthier scored his team-leading 20th goal for the Ducks, who lost their seventh straight game (0-6-1). Alex Killorn scored the other goal for Anaheim, while Lukas Dostal made 34 stops.

Anaheim opened the scoring 4:15 into the contest when Gauthier’s shot beat Vladar, who was battling a screen in front of the net.

However, Zegras responded with two goals in the next 10:08 — both on one-timers from a sharp angle to Dostal’s left. The first was set up by Christian Dvorak, who signed a five-year contract extension on Monday, and the second came off a nice feed by York.

Philadelphia dominated the second period, outshooting Anaheim 18-5.

The Flyers made it 3-1 early in that period when York’s shot from the blue line slipped through traffic.

Shortly thereafter, the hosts had a five-minute power play after Ross Johnston was whistled for interference, but they were unable to cash in. The Flyers then had another man advantage but came up empty once again.

Still, Philadelphia had enough time to tack on another goal late in the session. With 5:20 remaining, Noah Cates won a faceoff to Sanheim, whose blast from the high slot made it 4-1.

Cates finished with two assists for the Flyers, while Troy Terry and Jackson LaCombe set up both goals for the Ducks, including Killorn’s power-play tally with 18:35 remaining in the third.

Grebenkin’s empty-netter sealed the deal with 1:14 left.

The Flyers played most of the game without two players.

Bobby Brink did not return following a first-period hit by Jansen Harkins. Ex-Duck Jamie Drysdale was injured on the second-period hit by Johnston, who was awarded a major and a game misconduct.
