Holmberg scored his second goal of the season 32 seconds into the second period when he tipped in Morgan Rielly’s shot from the left point.
Larkin scored his 17th at 15:39 of the second. Forechecking set up Larkin for his shot from a sharp angle from the left of the net.
Detroit almost scored again soon after, but the puck was cleared off the goal line.
Toronto regained the lead on Marner’s 18th goal of the season at 18:18 of the second on a tap-in of Tyler Bertuzzi’s pass.
