Ryan O’Reilly and Steve Stamkos scored two goals each as the Nashville Predators rallied from a four-goal deficit to defeat the visiting St. Louis Blues 6-5 on Monday night.

Filip Forsberg added a goal and an assist and Michael McCarron also scored for the Predators. Roman Josi earned four assists, and Luke Evangelista added three helpers.

Juuse Saros allowed five goals on 21 shots before giving way to Justus Annunen in the second period. Annunen stopped all 13 shots he saw to get the victory, helping Nashville improve to 2-0-2 in the past four games.

Pavel Buchnevich had two goals and an assist for the Blues, who lost for the seventh time in eight games (1-6-1).

Jake Neighbours logged a goal and two assists while Philip Broberg had goal and an assist for St. Louis. Colton Parayko also scored and Jordan Kyrou earned three assists.

Joel Hofer allowed six goals on 28 shots in defeat.

The Blues took a 1-0 first-period lead on Neighbours’ redirection goal 4:53 into the first period. O’Reilly tied the game on a redirection power-play goal with one hand on his stick little more than four minutes later.

Buchnevich put the Blues up 2-1 with power-play goal from the slot with 5:36 left in the period.

The Blues then scored three times within the first 4 minutes of the second period to increase their lead to 5-1. Buchnevich started the surge by scoring off a loose puck in front of the net 45 seconds into the frame.

St. Louis got a fortunate bounce on their next goal. Broberg shot wide from the blue line, but the puck caromed off the end boards, then off Saros into the net.

The Blues made it 5-1 when Parayko scored cutting in from the right wing at the 3:55 mark.

But the Predators stormed back. McCarron started the rally with a deflected goal, then Forsberg narrowed the margin to 5-3 with a shot from the right faceoff dot with 6:11 to play in the second.

Nashville continued its push into the third period. O’Reilly’s rebound conversion at the 2:02 mark cut the St. Louis lead to 5-4. Stamkos tied the game 5-5 with a wraparound goal at the 7:14 mark, then put Nashville up 6-5 with a rebound conversion with 9:37 to play in the game.
