Blues 3, Oilers 2

Pius Suter scored the winning goal with 1:23 left as St. Louis edged visiting Edmonton to snap a seven-game winless streak.

Robert Thomas returned from a four-game injury absence to record a goal and an assist for a Blues team that entered Monday’s matchup 0-5-2 in its previous seven contests. Rookie Dalibor Dvorsky also scored his first NHL goal, and Jordan Binnington made 24 saves.

Jack Roslovic and Andrew Mangiapane scored for the Oilers, who blew a two-goal second-period lead. Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins earned two assists apiece, while Calvin Pickard stopped 19 shots.
