Matt Boldy scored two goals and picked up one assist, and the Minnesota Wild pulled away for a 5-0 win over the host Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night.

Kirill Kaprizov and Joel Eriksson Ek each finished with a goal and an assist for Minnesota, which won its fourth game in a row. Marcus Johansson also scored a goal.

Pittsburgh sustained its first shutout loss of the season. Sidney Crosby finished with three shots on goal to tie for the team lead.

Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson stopped all 19 shots he faced to notch his second shutout of the season and the 13th of his career.

Penguins goaltender Arturs Silovs gave up four goals on 10 shots. He was replaced in net by Sergei Murashov, who turned aside 10 of 11 shots.

The Wild jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first period.

Boldy started the scoring 3:57 into the game. He collected a rebound near the left side of the crease, put the puck on his backhand and swept a shot past Silovs.

Minnesota made it 2-0 on a power-play goal with 10:21 left in the first period. Eriksson Ek scored when he redirected a shot from Zeev Buium into the net.

Johansson finished the first-period scoring with 8:18 to go. He ripped a one-timer from the top of the left circle that beat Sirovs on his glove side.

The Wild increased their lead to 4-0 with 18:51 remaining in the second period. Kaprizov skated to the slot and tipped in a shot for his second goal in the past three games.

Boldy struck again with 2:14 left in the second period. Kaprizov kept the puck in the offensive end and fired a shot from near the boards, and Boldy deflected the puck for his second goal of the game and his team-leading 13th goal of the season.
