Tye Kartye scored the go-ahead goal with 6:57 left and Jared McCann had three assists to lead the Seattle Kraken to a 4-2 victory over the visiting Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night.

Andre Burakovsky had a goal and an assist and Jaden Schwartz and Matty Beniers also scored for Seattle (30-29-13, 73 points), which won its second straight game after losing eight in a row. It marked the first time since March 4-5 that the Kraken won back-to-back games.

Philipp Grubauer made 21 saves for Seattle, which moved two points ahead of Calgary (33-34-5, 71 points) into fifth place in the Pacific Division. The win snapped a personal four-start losing streak (0-3-1) for Grubauer dating back to a 4-2 victory at Calgary on March 4.

Isac Lundestrom and Jakob Silfverberg scored shorthanded goals just 44 seconds apart early in the third period for Anaheim (24-45-4, 52 points). Lukas Dostal finished with 24 saves for the Ducks, who lost their third straight and the 10th in 11 games (1-9-1).

Seattle took a 1-0 lead midway through the second period on a power-play goal by Schwartz. Jordan Eberle, who picked up his 400th career assist on the play, slapped a rebound of his own shot that caromed in off Schwartz, who was on his knees in the crease behind Dostal after getting dumped on a check. It was Schwartz’s 13th goal of the season.

Lundestrom tied it at the 2:08 mark of the third period with a wrist shot past Grubauer’s glove side. It was his fifth goal and first shorthanded goal of the season.

Seattle then gave up its second shorthanded score in short order when Silfverberg scored on a breakaway, tapping in a rebound of his own shot.

Seattle tied it 2-2 with 13:35 left in the period on a power-play goal by Burakovsky, whose point shot deflected in off the stick of a Ducks defender.

Kartye then put Seattle back in front for good when he fired in a wrist shot from the top of the circles for his ninth goal. Beniers made it 4-2 with 4:25 left when he redirected McCann’s shot to give the Kraken its third power-play goal in 10 attempts.
