Crouse regained the lead for the Coyotes on the power play at 14:47. Hellebuyck saved Maccelli’s shot from the right circle and Nick Bjugstad got a piece of the rebound in front before it slid back to Crouse in the slot to make it 3-2.
Niederreiter tied it 3-3 with a power-play tally of his own at 17:01 when he deflected a Nikolaj Ehlers shot from the left circle by Vejmelka.
Dillon’s second of the night gave the Jets their first lead of the game, 4-3, at 3:23 of the third period, taking a pass above the left circle and beating Vejmelka short side.
Niederreiter completed the hat trick at 7:16. Lowry deflected Dillon’s shot on net and the puck squeaked through Vejmelka’s pads and stopped on the goal line before Niederreiter pushed it over for the 5-3 final.
