The Philadelphia Flyers acquired forward Evan Barratt from the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday in exchange for defenseman Cooper Zech.
Barratt, 23, was a third-round pick by Chicago in 2017.
Barratt posted 28 points (14 goals, 14 assists) in 63 games last season with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Zech, 23, had one goal and 10 assists in 53 games in 2021-22 with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Neither player has appeared in an NHL game.
Earlier Wednesday, the Blackhawks traded defenseman Nicolas Beaudin to the Montreal Canadiens for forward Cam Hillis.
