Ryan Strome scored the go-ahead goal at 17:24 of the third period and the Anaheim Ducks rallied from a two-goal deficit for a 5-3 win against the visiting Edmonton Oilers on Sunday.

Strome took the puck from behind the net and stuffed it in on the doorstep. It initially appeared that goalie Calvin Pickard kept it out, but a video review confirmed it went over the line.

Mason McTavish added an empty-net goal at 19:08.

McTavish, Cutter Gauthier and Robby Fabbri each had a goal and an assist, and Lukas Dostal made 20 saves for the Ducks, who had lost seven straight to Edmonton.

Leon Draisaitl scored twice, Evan Bouchard had a goal and an assist, and Connor McDavid had two assists for the Oilers, who have lost consecutive games for the first time since Nov. 16-18. Pickard made 27 saves.

Down by one after 20 minutes, Anaheim made a push in the second period, outshooting Edmonton 17-8.

Draisaitl put the Oilers ahead 3-1 at 9:10. McDavid collected a loose puck in the corner and quickly sent it to Draisaitl, who ripped a one-timer from the slot.

Drew Helleson narrowed it to 3-2 at 12:19 when he intercepted Pickard’s rim around the boards at the right point and fired it through traffic to beat the goalie stick side.

Fabbri tied it 3-3 at 17:33. McTavish collected the puck in the left circle and dished it to Fabbri alone on the other side, and he snapped it past Pickard’s glove.

Draisaitl was alone in the right circle for a one-timer on the power play that beat Dostal inside the near post to give Edmonton a 1-0 lead at 8:03 of the first period.

Bouchard doubled the lead at 11:49. Viktor Arvidsson spotted Bouchard jumping up in the rush and Bouchard wired a snap shot from the right circle off the far post for a 2-0 advantage.

Gauthier cut the deficit to 2-1 just over two minutes later, carrying the puck from high in the neutral zone down the left wing to the left circle before snapping it past Pickard at 13:52.
