Drake Batherson scored twice, including the go-ahead goal in the third period, in a 7-4 win for the Ottawa Senators against the visiting San Jose Sharks on Sunday.

Fabian Zetterlund, Warren Foegele and Brady Tkachuk each had a goal and an assist, and Linus Ullmark made 19 saves for the Senators, who have won five of their past six games.

Mario Ferraro and Tyler Toffoli each had a goal and an assist for the Sharks. Laurent Brossoit made 18 saves.

Batherson put Ottawa ahead 5-4 when Artem Zub’s point shot deflected off his chest at 13:08 of the third period.

Dylan Cozens scored from the top of the right circle to push it to 6-4 at 14:50, and Tkachuk sealed it with an empty-net goal at 17:43.

Ferraro gave San Jose a 1-0 lead at 4:05 of the first period when he one-timed a slap shot from above the right circle that beat a screened Ullmark.

A fortuitous bounce pulled Ottawa even on the power play at 7:33. Batherson was credited with unassisted tally when his backhand centering pass attempt went to Ferraro, who redirected the puck into his own net.

Toffoli tipped Ferraro’s point shot over Ullmark to put the Sharks back in front at 14:43.

Foegele tied it 2-2 at 4:31 of the second period with a wrist shot from the bottom of the right circle that beat Brossoit five-hole.

Collin Graf got a second whack at Macklin Celebrini’s centering pass and pushed it past Ullmark to make it 3-2 for the visitors at 10:46.

The Senators then scored a pair of quick tallies 1:05 apart to take their first lead of the game.

Zetterlund converted on the power play to tie it 3-3 at 13:40, firing a one-timer from high in the zone off a feed from Jordan Spence.

Tyler Kleven beat Brossoit short side from low in the left circle to make it 4-3 Ottawa at 14:45.

Michael Misa’s snap shot from the left circle beat Ullmark bar down to tie it 4-4 at 3:28 of the third period.
