The New Jersey Devils acquired forward Curtis Lazar from the Vancouver Canucks on Friday in exchange for a fourth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.
Lazar, 28, has recorded five points (three goals, two assists) in 45 games this season with the Canucks. The British Columbia native was activated off injured reserve on Thursday after being sidelined with a lower-body ailment.
Lazar has totaled 95 points (38 goals, 47 assists) in 449 career games with the Ottawa Senators, Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins and Canucks. He was selected by the Senators with the 17th overall pick of the 2013 NHL Draft.
