Taylor Hall ripped home a one-time feed from David Pastrnak with 10.2 seconds left in overtime as the host Boston Bruins downed the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Saturday afternoon.

Hall led the Bruins offensively with three points (one goal, two assists), while David Krejci (two assists) and Pastrnak (one goal, one assist) had two apiece.

Nick Foligno and Hampus Lindholm also scored, and Linus Ullmark made 24 saves as Boston earned its second straight win beyond regulation. Ullmark improved to 4-0-0 this season.

Boston’s 3-1 lead was spoiled as Massachusetts native Matt Boldy and Minnesota captain Jared Spurgeon scored consecutive goals.

Spurgeon’s backhand goal with 4:31 left in regulation tied the score. He became the ninth player and first defenseman in Wild history to log 100 career goals.

Spurgeon (one goal, one assist) and Mats Zuccarello (two assists) led Minnesota with multi-point efforts.

Brandon Duhaime also scored and Marc-Andre Fleury made 39 saves for the Wild. Eight of Fleury’s saves came in overtime as Boston had one partial and one full power play.

The Wild struck quickly as a turnover on a zone entry allowed Duhaime to sprint ahead and beat Ullmark five-hole on a short-handed breakaway at 1:55.

At the 3:12 mark, Foligno ripped in a game-tying wrist shot from the left circle following Hall’s short pass.

The Bruins took their first lead at 12:45 as Pastrnak buried a rebound in front for his fourth goal of the season and 30th at home since the start of the 2021-22 season. Hall set it up by driving down the wing and putting a backhander on Fleury.

Lindholm gave Boston a two-goal lead 6:41 into the second period. After his initial point shot was blocked, Lindholm slid into the left circle and ripped home a wrister.

Matt Grzelcyk and Craig Smith recorded their 100th and 400th NHL points, respectively, with assists on Lindholm’s goal.

Minnesota closed within 3-2 when Boldy redirected Zuccarello’s shot on the power play with 4:02 left in the middle frame.

Boldy looked to tie the game at 5:45 of the third, but video review showed a distinct kicking motion near the crease. During the first half of the period, the Wild couldn’t capitalize on two separate 5-on-3 opportunities of 14 and 57 seconds in length.
