Dylan Cozens scored the tying goal with 1:46 left in regulation and the Ottawa Senators rallied to beat the visiting Seattle Kraken 4-3 in a shootout on Thursday night.

Shane Pinto and David Perron also scored in regulation for the Senators, who recovered after suffering an 8-4 loss Wednesday night at Buffalo and snapped a three-game skid.

Claude Giroux added two assists and Linus Ullmark made 30 saves, including five in overtime. He also stopped both attempts he faced in the shootout.

Tim Stutzle and Pinto scored for Ottawa in the shootout.

Chandler Stephenson scored his first two goals of the season and Shane Wright also scored for the Kraken. Brandon Montour had two assists and Philipp Grubauer made 21 saves in his first start of the season.

Cozens tied the score 3-3 with a slap shot from above the right circle during 6-on-5 play.

The Kraken went 1 for 3 on the power play while the Senators were 1 for 2.

Wright gave the Senators a 1-0 lead at 4:57 of the first. Ullmark made the save on Montour’s shot and blocked Wright’s rebound attempt, but Wright then lifted a backhander over Ullmark’s outstretched leg.

Pinto tied it 1-1 at 7:42 as Grubauer made the save against Lars Eller, but Pinto knocked home the rebound from the slot. His six goals are the most by a Senators player through the first five games of a season, according to NHL.com.

The Senators took a 2-1 lead at 9:35 when Perron scored from the left circle off a pass across the slot from Giroux on a power play.

Stephenson tied it 2-2 at 4:40 of the second period when his shot from the slot caromed off the crossbar and deflected in off Ullmark’s skate.

Stephenson gave the Kraken a 3-2 lead at 2:15 of the third when he scored from the left circle, knocking in the rebound of Jordan Eberle’s stuff attempt.
