Darcy Kuemper made 23 saves for the Los Angeles Kings in a 6-0 win against the visiting Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.

It’s the second shutout of the season for Kuemper and the 38th of his NHL career, which is eighth on the NHL active list.

Brandt Clarke scored two goals, Mikey Anderson and Alex Turcotte each had a goal and an assist, Warren Foegele and Andrei Kuzmenko also scored and Drew Doughty added three assists for the Kings, who avoided losing three in a row.

Spencer Knight made 26 saves for Chicago, which beat the Kings 2-1 on Thursday night in Los Angeles.

The Kings had combined for three goals in the previous 10 periods before scoring three in the second and three in the third.

Foegele gave Los Angeles a 1-0 lead at 1:55 of the second.

Chicago turned the puck over along the boards in its own zone and Trevor Moore fed Foegele for a one-timer from the high slot.

Moore hit the right post off a rush 44 seconds later, and Knight made a save on a 2-on-0 short-handed breakaway at 10:01 to keep it a one-goal deficit.

Los Angeles extended the lead to 2-0 at 16:38 when Kuzmenko’s shot from in close while on a power play went onto Knight’s shoulder, rolled down his back and across the goal line as he fell back into his net.

The Kings made it 3-0 with 54 seconds left in the period when Clarke retrieved his own blocked shot, carried the puck between the hash marks and scored with a wrist shot.

Following a turnover in the neutral zone, Clarke scored with a wrist shot on the near side from the right circle in transition for a 4-0 lead at 4:46 of the third.

Anderson scored during 4-on-4 play to make it 5-0 at 6:18, and Turcotte scored on a drive to the net for a 6-0 lead at 9:34.

The Blackhawks outshot the Kings 11-7 in the scoreless first period.
