The Arizona Coyotes re-signed restricted free agent forward Lawson Crouse to a five-year contract Monday.

Terms were not disclosed, but multiple reports pegged the total value at $21.5 million, or $4.3 million per season.

Crouse, 24, had been scheduled for an arbitration hearing on Monday.

“We are very pleased to sign Lawson to a long-term contract,” Arizona general manager Bill Armstrong said in a news release. “He is a big, strong, skilled power forward and we look forward to him being a big part of our future.”

Crouse set career highs in goals (20) and points (34) in 65 games last season. He tied for the team lead in game-winning goals (four) and led the team in hits (181).

He has 110 points (56 goals, 54 assists) and 253 penalty minutes in 346 career games over six seasons, all with the Coyotes.

Drafted in the first round (11th overall) by Florida in 2015, Crouse joined the Coyotes in a 2016 trade along with forward Dave Bolland in exchange for draft picks in 2017 and 2018.
