Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said Tuesday that he has signed a contract extension with the club.
It hasn’t been announced yet because the Rams are also working on a new deal for general manager Les Snead and are waiting to announce both, McVay said.
“I was talking in regards to Les and I have always been a pair,” McVay told reporters Tuesday. “We wanted to be able to kind of announce that when both of us got them done. Mine is done. Les is in the process of that.
“These things, they take time, but I think it is important,” McVay added. “We had a respect for the process. We wanted it to be able to be announced when both Les and I got done because of the partnership.”
McVay, 36, is 55-26 in five seasons as Rams head coach and is coming off a Super Bowl title in February.
The Rams are 86-74-1 since Snead took over as GM in 2012.
