Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Michael Pierce agreed to a two-year contract extension worth $7.5 million, ESPN reported on Saturday.
Pierce, 31, was slated to be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
He has totaled 36 tackles, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and one sack while starting all 16 games this season.
Pierce has 213 tackles, 7.5 sacks, six fumble recoveries and three forced fumbles in 87 career games (57 starts) with the Minnesota Vikings and Ravens.
