The Philadelphia Eagles and defensive back Anthony Harris mutually agreed to terminate his practice squad contract, ESPN reported Monday.
The move allows Harris more flexibility to latch on with another team, per the report.
Harris, 30, was cut by the Eagles last Tuesday as teams pared their rosters down to the mandated 53. He was later signed to the team’s practice squad.
Harris started 14 games for the Eagles in 2021. He has 10 career interceptions and 31 passes defensed in 95 games (61 starts) for the Minnesota Vikings (2015-20) and Eagles.
