Veteran NFL wide receiver Randall Cobb is joining the SEC Network as a studio analyst for the 2024 season.

Cobb, 33, officially has not called it quits on his playing career, however.

“Not officially retired but I’m excited for this new opportunity!” Cobb wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

For the time being, Cobb addressed his new job.

“I am incredibly excited to be coming home to the SEC with this new role,” Cobb said in a statement, per ESPN. “The level of greatness this conference provides year after year is unmatched — I cannot wait to return to the conference family with this SEC Network crew.”

Cobb was an All-American and two-time All-SEC player at Kentucky before being selected by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft.

A Pro Bowl selection in 2014, Cobb had 532 catches for 6,316 yards and 47 touchdowns in 10 seasons with the Green Bay Packers (2011-18, 2021-22). He finished with 630 receptions for 7,624 yards and 54 touchdowns in 166 games (88 starts) with the Packers, Dallas Cowboys (2019), Houston Texans (2020) and New York Jets (2023).
