Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs will not play Monday afternoon at Kansas City.
He was questionable with a quad injury and an illness and did not participate in Saturday’s practice.
Second-year back Zamir White likely will start for the visiting Raiders (6-8) against the Chiefs (9-5).
Jacobs has 1,101 yards from scrimmage (805 rushing, 296 receiving) and six touchdowns in 13 starts this season.
The 2022 NFL rushing champion has 5,545 rushing yards in 73 games since being drafted in the first round in 2019.
Also inactive for the Raiders are tight ends Michael Mayer and Jesper Horsted, center Hroniss Grasu, tackle Brandon Parker, defensive tackle Byron Young and quarterback Brian Hoyer.
Inactive for the Chiefs in Week 16 are wide receiver Kadarius Toney, tackle Donovan Smith (neck), defensive ends BJ Thompson and Malik Herring, defensive tackles Neil Farrell and Matt Dickerson, and cornerback Nic Jones.
