Josh Jacobs rushed for two touchdowns, including a go-ahead 1-yard scoring run with 1:50 left, as the Green Bay Packers edged the Arizona Cardinals 27-23 on Sunday in Glendale, Ariz.

Nursing a strained left calf, Jacobs helped send Arizona (2-5) to its fifth straight defeat, all by one score. Micah Parsons registered his first three-sack game as a member of the Packers.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett and tight end Trey McBride connected on a pair of touchdowns for Arizona, but Green Bay rallied to improve to 4-1-1.

Leading 23-20 with 5:58 to play, Arizona failed on a fourth-down attempt, setting the Packers up in Cardinals territory. A Green Bay fourth-down conversion was pivotal in the ensuing possession, with Jordan Love hitting Tucker Kraft for 15 yards on a fourth-and-2.

Jacobs scored three plays later. He finished with 55 yards on 13 carries.

Playing in relief of the injured Kyler Murray, Brissett went 25 of 36 for 279 yards and two touchdowns. Brissett’s pass for the end zone on Arizona’s final play was broken up with 6 seconds remaining.

Love was 19 for 29 for 179 yards and a touchdown. Romeo Doubs had six catches for 72 yards.

Green Bay capitalized on an Arizona turnover early in the third quarter, tying the game at 13 as Jacobs scored on a 7-yard run.

Arizona responded with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Brissett to McBride (10 catches, 74 yards) with 4:17 remaining in the third.

Green Bay evened the score again on a 7-yard connection from Love to Kraft with 14:55 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Chad Ryland’s 39-yard field goal, his third make of the game, put the Cardinals ahead 23-20 with 9:01 to play.

Arizona led 13-6 at halftime, producing the lone touchdown drive of the first half with 7 seconds left before intermission.

Brissett connected with McBride for a 15-yard touchdown pass, capitalizing on a coverage mix-up among Green Bay defenders. The Cardinals had three third-down conversions on their nine-play, 71-yard drive. That included a 43-yard pass from Brissett to Zay Jones on third-and-23 from the Arizona 16.

Arizona stretched its advantage to 10 points with the touchdown, but the Packers chipped into the deficit when Lucas Havrisik drilled a 61-yard field goal as time expired in the second quarter.

Bam Knight gained 57 yards on 14 carries for the Cardinals.
