British Brooks rushed for a pair of touchdowns and the host Houston Texans forced five turnovers to cruise to a 28-10 win over the New York Giants on Saturday afternoon.

Brooks had scoring scampers of 6 and 15 yards, with both runs coming in the fourth quarter. Reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud had only 10 pass attempts, completing seven. He threw for 88 yards.

The Texans (2-1) recovered three fumbles and got Giants quarterback Daniel Jones to throw a pair of interceptions. Jones completed 11 of 18 passes for 138 yards.

Devin Singletary ran for a 1-yard touchdown with 10:31 remaining in the second quarter, but New York (1-1) never found the end zone again the rest of the way.

Bears 27, Bengals 3

Tyson Bagent stole the spotlight from No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams by throwing for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Chicago’s rout of visiting Cincinnati.

Bagent completed 7 of 8 passes for the Bears (3-0). Williams threw for 75 yards on 6-for-13 passing. Dante Pettis was on the receiving end of both of Bagent’s TD passes, and he finished with three catches for 53 yards.

Evan McPherson booted a 54-yard field goal as time expired in the first half to provide the Bengals’ only points. Logan Woodside had 132 yards on 17-of-25 passing for Cincinnati (0-2). He was picked off twice.

Ravens 13, Falcons 12

Josh Johnson completed 11 of 11 passes for 120 yards and a touchdown as host Baltimore snuck by Atlanta.

Fellow Ravens quarterback Emory Jones connected with Dayton Wade for a 56-yard TD with 2:56 left in the third quarter to put Baltimore (1-1) up 13-6.

Jase McClellan found the end zone from 3 yards out with 36 seconds left in the game for the Falcons (0-2), but he was stopped short of the goal line on Atlanta’s ensuing two-point conversion attempt. McClellan finished with 55 yards and the score on 11 carries.

Lions 24, Chiefs 23

Jake Bates made good on a 43-yard field goal as the clock hit zeros to send visiting Detroit past Kansas City.

Bates converted all four of his field-goal attempts on Saturday, with the longest coming from 55 yards out. Detroit (1-1) trailed 23-15 early in the fourth quarter, but Lions quarterback Hendon Hooker scored on a 7-yard rush with 5:29 to go to set up Bates for the game-winning kick.

The Chiefs (0-2) raced out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter thanks in large part to Carson Wentz’s 22-yard scoring strike to Xavier Worthy. Patrick Mahomes threw for 93 yards on 8-for-14 passing for Kansas City.

Vikings 27, Browns 12

Half of Jaren Hall’s completions went for touchdowns and Minnesota blasted host Cleveland.

Hall completed 4 of 5 passes for 87 yards, with 71 of those coming on a scoring strike to Jeshaun Jones with 10:20 left in the game. Trishton Jackson and Malik Knowles were also on the receiving end of TDs for the Vikings (2-0). Hall’s first touchdown pass went to Knowles.

D’Onta Foreman scored on the ground and Cade York added a 33-yard field goal for the Browns (0-2).

Titans 16, Seahawks 15

Brayden Narveson kicked a 46-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter, giving Tennessee a victory over Seattle in Nashville.

Narveson converted a 59-yarder and a 21-yarder earlier in the fourth for the Titans (2-0), who trailed 12-7 at the break. Tennessee quarterback Mason Rudolph threw for 125 yards and a TD on 10-for-17 passing.

The Seahawks (1-1) scored just three points after halftime. Sam Howell connected on 11 of 14 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown for Seattle.

Colts 21, Cardinals 13

Host Indianapolis scored three touchdowns on the ground and held off Arizona for a victory.

Zavier Scott, Tyler Goodson and quarterback Jason Bean accounted for the rushing TDs. Scott came away with game highs in carries (11) and rushing yards (55).

Clayton Tune completed 8 of 10 passes for 79 yards and rushed for a touchdown for the Cardinals (0-2). Arizona was within 14-13 with 5:05 remaining in the third quarter after a Matt Prater field goal, but Bean sealed the win for the Colts (1-1) by finding the end zone early in the fourth.

Dolphins 13, Commanders 6

Tua Tagovailoa completed all five of his passes for 51 yards and a TD and Miami clipped Washington in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Chris Brooks led the Dolphins’ rushing attack with 63 yards on five touches. Miami (2-0) came away with the win despite being outgained 340-288.

The Commanders (0-2) utilized three quarterbacks, and all three failed to throw for more than 93 yards. Washington went 0-for-2 in the red zone.

Bills 9, Steelers 3

Three field goals from Tyler Bass were all visiting Buffalo needed to knock off Pittsburgh.

Bass’ kicks came from 27, 26 and 31 yards out. Star signal-caller Josh Allen did not play for the Bills (1-1).

The Steelers (0-2) were hampered by the loss of running back Jaylen Warren, who exited the game in the second quarter because of a hamstring injury. Pittsburgh’s Russell Wilson had 47 yards on 8-of-10 passing.

Jets 15, Panthers 12

Austin Seibert made good on four field goals and Greg Zuerlein put one in between the uprights as New York edged Carolina in a battle of kickers in Charlotte.

Eddy Pineiro had a pair of field goals for the Panthers (0-2). Carolina’s Dillon Johnson provided the game’s only points that didn’t come off a kick, rushing for a 2-yard score on the last play of the contest. Johnson totaled 83 yards on 18 carries.

Aaron Rodgers has yet to play this preseason for the Jets (2-0). New York running back Breece Hall also didn’t suit up.

Rams 13, Chargers 9

Stetson Bennett found JJ Laap for a go-ahead 47-yard touchdown with 9:48 left in the game, giving the visiting Rams a victory over the Chargers in Inglewood, Calif.

Bennett completed 17 of 31 passes for 213 yards, the TD and a pick as the Rams (2-0) finished with 338 yards of total offense. The Bennett-Laap score was the only touchdown of the game for either side.

The Chargers (0-2) could muster only three field goals from Cameron Dicker. Luis Perez had 78 yards on 13-for-20 passing.

Jaguars 20, Buccaneers 7

Mac Jones looked sharp under center, throwing for 210 yards and a pair of touchdowns to help host Jacksonville coast past Tampa Bay.

Jones hit on 16 of his 23 passes. Parker Washington and Brevin Easton hauled in Jones’ scoring strikes, and Austin Trammell had four catches for 75 yards for the Jaguars (2-0).

Kyle Trask headlined the Buccaneers’ passing attack with 108 yards and a TD on 12-of-19 passing. Tampa Bay (1-1) was just 2-for-11 on third down.

Cowboys 27, Raiders 12

Brandon Aubrey would have made history had it been the regular season and Kemon Hall had a 69-yard pick-6 to lead Dallas over host Las Vegas.

Aubrey converted a 66-yard field goal, which would have matched the all-time record set by Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker had the game counted Saturday. Aubrey also booted a 54-yarder for the Cowboys (1-1).

Aidan O’Connell finished with 96 yards, one TD and one interception on 14-of-20 passing as the Raiders fell to 0-2 in the preseason.
