Jake Browning threw for 173 yards and a touchdown on 19-for-24 passing to lead the host Cincinnati Bengals to a 16-7 preseason victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night in a rematch of Super Bowl LVI.

Browning found tight end Justin Rigg for a 3-yard score late in the fourth quarter to extend a Bengals lead that had been forged by kicker Evan McPherson, who made three field goals in the first half to put Cincinnati up 9-0.

Los Angeles got its only points thanks to a 3-yard rushing touchdown from Bryce Perkins. Perkins completed 14 of 19 passes for 143 yards and added 33 yards on the ground on eight carries.

The Bengals’ defense stood strong all game, holding the Rams to 237 yards of total offense.

Colts 27, Buccaneers 10

Quarterback Sam Ehlinger scrambled for a 45-yard touchdown and Indianapolis scored 20 unanswered points to cruise past Tampa Bay.

Phillip Lindsay’s 2-yard rushing touchdown started the Colts’ surge, and Ehlinger followed with his run to start the third quarter before a pair of Rodrigo Blankenship field goals capped the scoring. Tom Brady was efficient in his preseason debut, completing 6 of 8 passes for 44 yards.

Falcons 28, Jaguars 12

Three running backs each found the end zone once as Atlanta cruised past visiting Jacksonville.

Caleb Huntley, Qadree Ollison and Tyler Allgeier all scored on the ground, and Allgeier also hauled in a receiving touchdown for the Falcons. Laquon Treadwill was responsible for the Jaguars’ only touchdown, finding himself on the receiving end of a 7-yard pass from E.J. Perry.

Bears 21, Browns 20

Justin Fields threw for three touchdowns in the first half and Chicago warded off a late comeback to edge host Cleveland.

Fields connected with tight ends Ryan Griffin and Cole Kmet and wide receiver Dante Pettis to help give the Bears a commanding 21-0 lead. But the Browns pulled within 21-14, and quarterback Josh Rosen rushed into the end zone from 1 yard out with 2:31 left to play before a failed two-point conversion cost Cleveland the game.

Titans 26, Cardinals 23

Quarterback Logan Woodside’s lone rush resulted in a go-ahead, 9-yard touchdown with 52 seconds remaining that allowed Tennessee to best Arizona in Nashville, Tenn.

Woodside took over after Malik Willis threw for 131 yards on 15-for-23 passing with a touchdown and an interception. A good portion of the Cardinals’ offense was provided by kicker Matt Prater, who put all three of his field goal attempts through the uprights.

However, Darrel Williams added a 1-yard rushing touchdown and Greg Dortch caught a 2-yard TD.

Dolphins 48, Eagles 10

Skylar Thompson and Tua Tagovailoa combined to throw for four touchdowns as Miami crushed Philadelphia in Miami Gardens, Fla.

Thompson threw for 103 yards and three scores, while Tagovailoa completed 6 of 7 passes for 121 yards, with 51 of those coming on a deep pass to Tyreek Hill. Jason Huntley scored the Eagles’ only touchdown on a 67-yard rush and finished the night with 93 yards on 11 carries.

Ravens 17, Commanders 15

Demarcus Robinson had four catches for 135 yards and a touchdown to lead host Baltimore over Washington.

Robinson scored on a 67-yard pass from Anthony Brown, who finished with 256 yards on 15-for-19 passing. Sam Howell was under center all game for the Commanders, finishing with 280 yards and one touchdown.

Broncos 23, Vikings 13

Baron Browning recovered a fumble and took it 17 yards to the end zone to give Denver a 10-point lead that it would never surrender to defeat visiting Minnesota.

Greg Joseph hit a pair of field goals to bring the Vikings within four, but Brandon McManus responded with two of his own to give the Broncos some insurance. Wide receiver Montrell Washington added a rushing touchdown for Denver, while Bryant Koback had one for Minnesota.
