NFL News: Mitch Morse, longtime NFL center, retires

Longtime NFL center Mitch Morse announced his retirement Thursday.

“The things I’ll remember and cherish most about my career are the relationships and bonds I created with my teammates, both on and off of the field. Nothing can replace that, and I will miss it dearly,” Morse wrote in a social media post.

Morse, who turns 33 next month, entered the NFL as a second-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2015 NFL Draft.

He spent his first four seasons with the Chiefs, followed by five with the Buffalo Bills and his 2024 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

A Pro Bowl selection in 2022 with the Bills, Morse started all 143 games in his career, including all 17 last season.
