New York Giants standout left tackle Andrew Thomas on Friday termed himself a game-time decision for Sunday night’s home game against the Kansas City Chiefs in a battle of 0-2 teams.

Thomas has been sidelined more than 11 months since sustaining a Lisfranc fracture in his left foot in Game 6 of last season. The Giants listed him as questionable on Friday’s injury report.

“Feeling good. Three days in a row practicing,” Thomas told reporters after Friday’s practice. “First time doing that. Starting to build a volume, get my confidence back, so it’s exciting for sure.”

Thomas is being cautious and not looking at his status as full-go. He said he’s still working on building up his stamina and said it’s possible he would rotate out at times.

“You don’t want to do too much on the foot because you don’t want it to be sore, but I have to build my cardio base and things like that,” Thomas said. “So, we’ve been getting creative, trying to do different things to build that.”

Thomas, 26, has started 60 of 61 games played since being the fourth overall pick of the 2020 draft. He earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2022.

Giants coach Brian Daboll said he will be paying close attention to Thomas leading up to the game.

“I’d probably say it’s a collection of everything when a guy hasn’t played for that long,” Daboll said Friday. “Again, I think our medical department, I think Andrew, they’ve done everything they can do each and every day, each and every week to continue to improve.”
