The Miami Dolphins activated Pro Bowl left tackle Terron Armstead off injured reserve Saturday and he will play against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in Germany.
Armstead, 32, missed the past four games after suffering a knee injury in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. Kendall Lamm has been filling in for Armstead.
The Dolphins waived undrafted rookie defensive lineman Brandon Pili to make room for Armstead on the 53-man roster. Pili is a candidate for the team’s practice squad if he clears waivers.
Armstead, a four-time Pro Bowler, was inactive for the season’s first two games but then started the next two. He signed a five-year, $75 million contract — including $43.37 million guaranteed — in March 2022. He underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee in the offseason.
He has started 108 of his 112 career games with the New Orleans Saints (2013-21) and Dolphins.
