The Washington Commanders announced the signings Monday of wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus, running back Jeremy McNichols and quarterback Jeff Driskel. Terms were not disclosed.
Zaccheaus, 26, joins his third team in three years. He caught 10 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns in 17 games (one start) for the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.
Undrafted out of Virginia in 2019, Zaccheaus played his first four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons and has caught 104 passes for 1,492 yards and 10 TDs in 72 games (24 starts).
McNichols, 28, has bounced around since being drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the fifth round in 2017. He made three appearances on special teams with the San Francisco 49ers last season.
He has accumulated 364 rushing yards and one TD plus 40 catches for 295 yards and a TD in 37 games (no starts) with the 49ers (2017, 2023), Indianapolis Colts (2018), Jacksonville Jaguars (2019) and Tennessee Titans (2020-21).
Driskel, 30, made one start last season for the Cleveland Browns, completing 13 of 26 passes for 166 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in a Week 18 loss at Cincinnati.
He is 1-10 as a starter and has thrown for 2,394 yards with 16 TDs and 10 picks in 24 games with the Bengals (2018), Detroit Lions (2019), Denver Broncos (2020), Houston Texans (2021-22) and Browns.
