Cincinnati Bengals rookie defensive end Jeff Gunter sustained a left knee injury during warmups and was carted off the field prior to Sunday’s game in New Orleans.
Gunter, 23, was ruled out for the game shortly after it started.
He has played in all five games this season since being selected in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Coastal Carolina.
Gunter blocked a field goal attempt in the Bengals’ 27-15 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sept. 29.
