Miles Bridges scored 25 points and the largely new-look Charlotte Hornets snapped a 10-game losing streak by defeating the visiting Memphis Grizzlies 115-106 on Saturday night.

Brandon Miller and newcomer Vasilije Micic both scored 18 points, while Grant Williams had 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds in his first game with the Hornets. Nick Richards added 13 points.

Jaren Jackson Jr. pumped in 29 points for Memphis, but the Grizzlies suffered their eighth loss in a row. GG Jackson added 16 points and Vince Williams Jr. had 14 points.

Bridges shot 11-for-13 from the field, making both of his 3-point attempts. That was a huge turnaround from his 2-for-16 outing from the floor a night earlier at Milwaukee.

The Hornets, who’ve had a roster overhaul because of injuries and trades, rolled out a starting lineup that included Tre Mann at point guard in his debut with the team.

Charlotte, which had lost its previous eight home games, also had team debuts for recently acquired Williams, Micic, Seth Curry and Davis Bertans as they were the first players off the bench. Williams and Curry are from Charlotte, so it was a homecoming for them as well.

Both teams made 16 shots from 3-point range, and they relied heavily on perimeter offense. The teams combined to take 15 free throws.

Charlotte shot 57.3 percent from the field, also getting a boost from Miller at 7-for-9 and Micic at 8-for-13 to help overcome the team’s 19 turnovers.

Memphis shot 46.7 percent from the field and ended up with an 11-rebound deficit.

The Hornets used a 10-0 spurt late in the second quarter on their way to a 58-49 halftime lead. The teams had matching point totals in each of the third and fourth quarters.

Six of Memphis’ 11 first-quarter field goals were 3-pointers as the Grizzlies led 28-25. The teams combined for 19 good 3-pointers and 24 baskets on 2-pointers in the first half.
