A school superintendent in New Jersey has blamed Adriana Kuch and her grieving father for her death, alleging that the bullied teen was on drugs and that her father’s “affair” caused her inner turmoil. Students at the Central Regional School District in New Jersey are appalled by the alleged insensitivity of Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides towards Adriana’s multiple suicide.

Hundreds of people gathered to pay their respects to Adriana, the Berkeley Township, New Jersey teen, who was victimized by bullying daily at school, was found dead at home two days after the video of her being beaten went viral.
When asked if his earlier comments were an effort to deflect blame from the administration and whether he believed they were insensitive, the embattled school superintendent told DailyMail.com that he had “nothing more to say” as he fled his office at the Ocean County school.
Adriana was the target of a heartless smear campaign by Parlapanides to divert attention from the administration, which claimed she had been offered counseling “for drugs.” In a previous interview, Michael Kuch reportedly detailed how Adriana’s mother battled addiction before passing away tragically in 2015 when Adriana was only seven years old. He refuted Parlapanides’ claims that his daughter received “drugs counseling,” explaining instead that he and his wife had sought help for her because she had been using a vape to smoke marijuana, as many students at the school did.
Outside the school, parents and students demonstrated against what they described as “a shocking lack of sensitivity” and “action from the administration who swore to protect.” The school has threatened to suspend students who protest, so the student’s attempt to simply raise awareness carries some risk.

Student Danielle Ledesma claimed that she was aware of the institutionalized bullying at the school and the latter’s lack of response. She said that her signboard, which read “I doubt that,” was the response that the superintendent had made when her friend reported being sexually assaulted in the school. Because of the school’s lack of response, Danielle said she is “having panic attacks in the school on a daily basis.” One of the students’ parents, Jennifer O, claimed that staff members were “equally to blame” for bullying incidents.
Meanwhile, the school has announced that all students who participate in the protest or demonstration will be suspended. The number of kids suspended as a result of the protests that broke out after Adriana’s suicide is still unknown.
