On Monday, basketball star Tristan Thompson publicly confirmed that he was the father of the baby born to Maralee Nichols. He shared his thoughts on social media and addressed both Maralee and ex Khloe Kardashian. Page Six reported that Maralee’s publicist said that there was “never any doubt that Tristan Thompson was the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby.”
She also said that Tristan had made several “false and defamatory statements” about Maralee in the past few months. She said that Maralee was “taking his contrite statement today in the context of all of those statements.”
Earlier, Tristan wrote that the paternity tests on Monday had revealed that he had fathered a child with Maralee Nichols. He said that he took full responsibility for his actions. He said that he looked forward to amicably raising their son as the paternity had been established.
He added that he sincerely apologized to everyone he had hurt or disappointed throughout the “ordeal both publicly and privately.”
He also wrote another post to his ex Khloe Kardashian. He told the reality star that she didn’t “deserve” what had happened. He told Khloe that she didn’t “deserve the heartache and humiliation” that he caused her.
He added that she didn’t deserve” the way that he had treated her and claimed his actions did not line up with the way that he viewed her,
He said that he had “utmost respect and love” for her, regardless of what she might think and he repeated that he was “incredibly sorry.”
In mid December, Tristan Thompson had confessed that he had been in a four-month long affair with Maralee Nichols, while he was dating Khloe Kardashian. The 30-year old Sacramento Kings player had revealed to the Daily Mail that he had been “hooking” up with baby mama Maralee for months.
Tristan Thompson is now the father of three children: son Prince. 5 with Jordan Craig, daughter True, 3 with Khloe Kardashian and his new born son with Maralee Nichols.
