TKO Group Holdings announced on Tuesday that WWE’s flagship show will have a new home. Netflix will begin live-streaming Monday Night Raw in January 2025. The two companies have signed a partnership for more than $5 billion for the next ten years. Earlier in the day, there was another vast announcement when the company said that celebrity WWE legend Dwayne The Rock Johnson had joined the board of directors of TKO Group Holdings.
According to court filings by TKO the deal between WWE and Netflix has an extension option for an additional ten years or an opportunity to opt out of the agreement after five years. The announcement was made on social media after The Rock had joined TKO, and web fans were thrilled.
Netflix will stream Raw in the U.S., Canada, Britain, Latin America, and other territories. TKO Group Holdings shares rose by 27 percent, while Netflix shares remained flat. Netflix will be reporting its quarterly results later on Tuesday.

Netflix has been looking to stream sports events, and Raw is not a seasonal event but a yearlong show. This is the first time the streaming service looks at long-term sports events. Raw is a popular show in the U.S. with web fans, and Netflix is looking to increase its sports web fans by partnering with popular sports shows and events.
WWE’s flagship, Raw, was introduced in 1993. The more than three-decade-old show aired on USA Network from 1993 to 2000. It rejoined NBCUniversal in 2005 and is currently part of the giant network. Although USA Network will let Raw go to Netflix in January 2025, it continues with WWE as it will air SmackDown in October.
After WWE and UFC merged in September to form TKO Group Holdings, there have been several changes, and new deals and partnerships have been signed. SmackDown is moving from Fox to USA Network, and NXT is moving from USA Network to The CW. In 2025, WWE will be on broadcast TV, cable TV, and streaming services weekly.
