Trevor Etienne rushed for three touchdowns as No. 5 Georgia built a 23-point lead en route to a 30-15 win at No. 1 Texas in Austin in Southeastern Conference play Saturday.
Carson Beck completed 23 of 41 attempts for 175 yards and threw three interceptions for the Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC), who won their third straight.
Georgia’s defense was dominant throughout, recording seven sacks and limiting Texas to just 29 rushing yards on 27 carries. Jalon Walker was the star, recording a game-high three sacks and a team-high eight tackles for the Bulldogs.
Quinn Ewers completed 25 of 43 passes for 211 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for Texas (6-1, 2-1). Arch Manning entered briefly in the second quarter, completing 3 of 6 passes for 19 yards.
No. 6 Miami 52, Louisville 45
Cam Ward passed for 319 yards and four touchdowns as the visiting Hurricanes beat the Cardinals in an ACC game.
Miami (7-0, 3-0) entered the game as the highest-scoring team in the nation at 47.7 points per game, and the Hurricanes continued to roll to their first 7-0 start since 2017.
Tyler Shough passed for 342 yards and four TDs for Louisville (4-3, 2-2), which also got a 100-yard kickoff return from Caullin Lacy.
No. 11 Tennessee 24, No. 7 Alabama 17
Nico Iamaleava threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Chris Brazzell II with 5:52 remaining to help the Volunteers beat the Crimson Tide in a Southeastern Conference showdown in Knoxville, Tenn.
Dylan Sampson rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries as Tennessee (6-1, 3-1) defeated Alabama for the second time in their past three meetings after dropping the previous 15 matchups.
Jalen Milroe completed 25 of 45 passes for 239 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for Alabama (5-2, 2-2). Milroe had his pass intercepted by Brooks with 1:24 left to end the Crimson Tide’s final chance to score.
No. 8 LSU 34, Arkansas 10
Caden Durham ran for three touchdowns and the Tigers limited the Razorbacks to 38 yards on the ground in a Southeastern Conference win in Fayetteville, Ark.
Durham rushed for 101 yards on 21 carries as the Tigers (6-1, 3-0) earned their sixth straight win. Garrett Nussmeier was an efficient 22-of-33 through the air for 224 yards, throwing completions to nine different receivers.
Meanwhile, the Razorbacks (4-3, 2-2) couldn’t replicate the success they had in their 19-14 upset of then-unbeaten Tennessee in their last game two weeks ago. Taylen Green connected on 19 of 28 attempts for 239 yards with a touchdown and an interception but absorbed three sacks.
No. 9 Iowa State 38, UCF 35
Rocco Becht led the Cyclones, who trailed by 14 points in the third quarter, on a game-winning drive in the final two minutes to a Big 12 home win against the Knights.
Becht led the Cyclones (7-0, 4-0) on an 11-play, 80-yard drive where he either threw or ran it himself on every play. It ended with Becht going straight at the goal line for a 1-yard rushing touchdown and a follow-up two-point quarterback draw to grab the lead with 30 seconds left. Becht ended the night with 371 total yards, (274 passing, 97 rushing) and three total touchdowns.
For UCF (3-4, 1-3), RJ Harvey had 196 rushing yards and two touchdowns, which included an 80-yard run that put him over 3,000 yards in his NCAA career. Jacurri Brown, starting in his first game at quarterback for UCF, added 154 rushing yards with two rushing scores but threw a costly late interception.
No. 10 Clemson 48, Virginia 31
Cade Klubnik fired three touchdown passes and the host Tigers spoiled Cavaliers’ coach Tony Elliott’s return to campus.
Clemson (6-1, 5-0 ACC) extended its winning streak to six games and posted its sixth straight win in the series with Virginia (4-3, 2-2). Elliott played at Clemson and worked on Tigers coach Dabo Swinney’s staff for 11 seasons, serving as the offensive coordinator for two national champions. This was his first game at Clemson, S.C., since taking over at Virginia in 2022.
Klubnik completed 23 of 35 passes for 308 yards with an interception. Phil Mafah rushed for 78 yards and two scores and Olsen Patt-Henry had two TD catches as Clemson outgained Virginia 539-346.
No. 14 Texas A&M 34, Mississippi State 24
Le’Veon Moss ran for two of his team’s three touchdowns as the Aggies defeated the host Bulldogs in Southeastern Conference action from Starkville, Miss.
Moss finished with 65 yards on 17 carries, while Amari Daniels chipped in 47 yards and a touchdown on 12 attempts. Conner Weigman went 15-of-25 for 217 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for Texas A&M (6-1, 4-0 SEC).
While the Aggies have won six straight games since dropping their season opener, the Bulldogs (1-6, 0-4) have lost six in a row since winning their Week 1 contest. Mississippi State quarterback Michael Van Buren was 22 of 41 for 242 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.
No. 16 Indiana 56, Nebraska 7
Justice Ellison ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns as the Hoosiers rolled past the Cornhuskers in Bloomington, Ind.
Indiana (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) rolled up 495 yards of offense against a top-15 defense nationally despite losing starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke to a hand injury. Before departing at halftime, Rourke completed 17 of 21 passes for 189 yards with a touchdown.
While the Hoosiers were sharp in every phase, the Cornhuskers (5-2, 2-2) weren’t. Freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola completed 28 of 44 passes for 234 yards but also tossed three interceptions, two of which turned into Indiana touchdown drives.
No. 19 Missouri 21, Auburn 17
Brady Cook shook off an ankle injury and passed for 194 yards as Missouri rallied for a homecoming victory over Auburn in Columbia, Mo.
After getting hurt early in the first quarter and sitting out until late in the third quarter, Cook helped Missouri (6-1, 2-1 SEC) erase a 14-point deficit.
Payton Thorne was 17 of 29 for 176 yards and a touchdown for Auburn (2-5, 0-4).
No. 21 SMU 40, Stanford 10
Kevin Jennings threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns, including an 87-yarder to Moochie Dixon on the first offensive play of the game, and the Mustangs remained unbeaten in Atlantic Coast Conference play with a shellacking of the host Cardinal.
LJ Johnson Jr. added two rushing scores for the Mustangs (6-1, 3-0), who have won four in a row since a narrow loss to BYU. They have run up 182 points in the process. Jennings had 278 of his 322 passing yards by halftime as part of the Mustangs’ 364-92 dominance in total yards in the first two periods.
Heralded freshman Elijah Brown came off the bench and threw for 153 yards in his first extensive playing time for the Cardinal (2-5, 1-3), who lost their fourth in a row.

Luke Altmyer threw for one touchdown and ran for another as the Fighting Illini defeated the Wolverines in Champaign, Ill.
Altmyer completed 9 of 18 passes for 80 yards and rushed for 48 yards on 10 attempts. Aidan Laughery rushed for 54 yards on nine carries, and Illinois’ defense forced three turnovers and sacked Michigan quarterback Jack Tuttle five times. Illinois (6-1, 3-1 Big Ten) had dropped its last six meetings vs. the Wolverines, with its last victory coming in 2009.
Tuttle completed 20 of 32 passes for 208 yards and Colston Loveland caught seven passes for 83 yards. Kalel Mullings rushed 19 times for 87 yards and one score for the Wolverines (4-3, 2-2).
No. 23 Army 45, East Carolina 28
Bryson Daily matched a school record with five rushing touchdowns to lift the Black Knights over the Pirates in West Point, N.Y.
Daily ran for a career-high 171 yards and scored on touchdown runs of 17, 31, 1, 3 and 4 yards. The two-time reigning American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week has rushed for a school-record 19 touchdowns this season for Army (7-0, 6-0 AAC).
Chase Sowell had seven catches for 138 yards and joined Winston Wright Jr. and Anthony Smith in reeling in a touchdown reception for East Carolina (3-4, 1-2), which has lost four of its past five games.
No. 25 Navy 51, Charlotte 17
Alex Tecza notched three first-quarter touchdowns, Dashaun Peele returned two interceptions for scores and the Midshipmen walloped the turnover-prone 49ers in American Athletic Conference action in Annapolis, Md.
A fullback, Tecza rushed for two scores and added a 46-yard TD reception as 16-point favorite Navy (6-0, 4-0 AAC) scored 24 points inside the game’s first dozen minutes. Blake Horvath went 7 of 13 for 117 yards and three TDs. The Midshipmen opened their season with six straight wins for the first time since 1979.
In losing for the first time in three games, Charlotte (3-4, 2-1) struggled as starting quarterback Max Brown completed 7 of 18 passes for 152 yards with two TDs and three interceptions.
