Kansas State turned the turnover into points when Joe Jackson scored on a 1-yard TD run with 3:52 remaining in the half for a 10-0 advantage.

The Wildcats extended the lead to 17-7 when Will Anciaux caught a 3-yard scoring pass from Johnson with 45 seconds left before halftime.

Kansas State picked up right where it left off in the second half when Johnson led a six-play, 65-yard drive that finished on a shovel pass to Garrett Oakley for a 1-yard TD and a 24-7 lead.

UCF’s Noe Ruelas hit a career-long 53-yard field goal with 2:01 left in the third quarter to narrow the gap to 24-10.
