T-Wolves Gaming, NetsGC, Jazz Gaming, Pacers Gaming, Cavs Legion Gaming and Lakers Gaming all registered two wins on Wednesday as the NBA 2K League’s 3v3 season got underway with the beginning of Slam Open group play.
The T-Wolves overcame a two-game deficit to beat Mavs Gaming 3-2, then topped Grizz Gaming 3-1.
The Nets downed Hawks Talon GC 3-1 before beating Raptors Uprising GC 3-1.
The Jazz edged Warriors Gaming Squad 3-2 and defeated Kings Guard Gaming 3-1.
The Pacers got past Grizz Gaming and Bucks Gaming, both by 3-1 scores.
The Cavs defeated the Hawks 3-1, then wiped out Knicks Gaming 3-0.
The Lakers handled the Kings 3-1 and beat Blazer5 Gaming 3-2.
In other Wednesday action, the Bucks dumped the Mavs 3-1, the Knicks swept the Raptors 3-0, and the Warriors bested Blazer5 3-1.
Group play for the Slam Open continues through Monday. Bracket play for the event is scheduled for March 7-8 and March 13-16.
The NBA 2K League 3v3 season continues with the Switch Open (March 20-April 6) and the Steal Open (April 19-20). The playoffs are set for April 24-27 in Washington.
