NBL Oz Gaming, T-Wolves Gaming, Magic Gaming and Cavs Legion GC each won two lower-bracket matches on Friday to advance to the in-person final stage of the NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Switch Open.

Those four clubs grabbed the last available spots for the phase that begins Wednesday at District E in Washington.

The 25 NBA 2K League teams, who were seeded based on qualifying results the past few weeks, were joined in the double-elimination bracket phase of the $150,000 event by seven community (amateur) teams. Each match was best-of-five.

The champion will be crowned on April 29, with the winner taking home $60,000 and the runner-up getting $30,000.

On Friday, eighth-seeded NBL Oz Gaming got past No. 30 The OTF Vultures 3-1, then ousted No. 6 Warriors Gaming Squad 3-1.

No. 7 T-Wolves Gaming downed No. 13 Mavs Gaming 3-1 before sweeping No. 12 Jazz Gaming 3-0.

No. 18 Magic Gaming crushed No. 21 Gen.G Tigers 3-0, then edged No. 20 Grizz Gaming 3-2.

No. 9 Cavs Legion GC trounced No. 14 76ers GC 3-0, then squeezed past No. 27 Rim Runners, a community team, 3-2.

In other earlier action on Friday, the Warriors handled No. 16 Heat Check Gaming 3-1; the Jazz bounced No. 15 Blazer5 Gaming 3-1; the Grizz got past No. 26 Dot Squad, a community team, 3-0; and Rim Runners dumped No. 32 Gamers First Longhorns 3-0.
