Mavs Gaming and DUX Infinitos advanced to the Western Conference final while Knicks Gaming and Magic Gaming moved on to the Eastern Conference final with two wins apiece on Friday in the NBA 2K League’s 5v5 The Ticket event in Washington.

The winners of each conference final on Saturday will earn a playoff berth, and the two victorious teams will then square off in a match with $25,000 on the line.

The top five teams in each conference previously clinched playoff bids. The Ticket offered the last chance for the remaining team to sneak into the playoff field. All matches in the single-elimination tournament consist of a single game.

The Mavs opened with a 59-53 win over Jazz Gaming before downing Grizz Gaming 74-63. Kenneth Grant “KennyZeus” Strombeck averaged 23.5 points and six assists for the Mavs in the two victories.

DUX eliminated Lakers Gaming 78-66, then edged Pacers Gaming 89-86 with Brian “Killeyy” Diaz averaging 29 points and seven assists.

The Knicks routed Raptors Uprising GC 73-58 and Heat Check Gaming 94-70 thanks to Malik “OriginalMalik” Hobson’s 22 points and 10.5 assists per game and Ethan “Radiant” White’s 21.5 points and 10 assists per game.

The Magic nipped Celtics Crossover Gaming 73-71 before crushing Cavs Legion GC 89-59. Joshua “unguardable” Hunter contributed 31.5 points and 14.5 assists per game for the Magic.

In other first-round matches on Friday, the Cavs downed Wizards District Gaming 73-59, the Pacers beat Kings Guard Gaming 76-71, and the Heat handled Hawks Talon GC 81-71.
