Magic Gaming swept T-Wolves Gaming 3-0 on Saturday to emerge as champions of the NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Switch Open.

The Magic opened the match with a 22-16 victory before prevailing 23-14. T-Wolves Gaming then crumbled, as Magic Gaming cruised to a 23-8 rout to complete the sweep.

Joshua “unguardable” Hunter averaged 11.7 points across the three games for the Magic. Damian “Tutak” Tutak went for 10 points on 5-of-6 shooting before the Wolves’ offense tapered off.

In order to reach the final, Magic Gaming had to beat Lakers Gaming 3-2 in the upper-bracket final. The Magic built a 2-0 lead that they quickly saw slip away, but the Lakers couldn’t put the finishing touches on the comeback.

After getting through Gen.G Tigers with a 3-1 win, T-Wolves Gaming collided with Lakers Gaming in the lower-bracket final, where the Wolves prevailed 3-0.

Lakers Gaming scored just six points in their final game vs. T-Wolves Gaming.

The double-elimination Switch Open was the second of three 3v3 tournaments in the NBA 2K League season. The Lakers won the Slam Open in March, and the Steal Open will follow this month. The 3v3 playoffs are set for April 24-27 in Washington, with cumulative results in the three tournaments determining the playoff field and seeding.
