Knicks Gaming swept two matches for the second straight night Wednesday to continue a perfect start in the NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Switch Open.
The event is the league’s second of the season, after Pistons GT captured the Slam Open championship on Saturday in Washington.
The Knicks (4-0) edged Celtics Crossover Gaming 3-2, then routed Lakers Gaming 3-0. The Celtics, who opened with two wins on Tuesday, fell twice on Wednesday, including a 3-1 defeat against Kings Guard Gaming.
Pacers Gaming improved to 3-0 by sweeping Wizards District Gaming 3-0.
DUX Infinitos moved to 2-0 by dominating Magic Gaming 3-0, and Hawks Talon GC won their tourney opener by a 3-2 margin against Heat Check Gaming.
In other Wednesday action, the Magic nipped NetsGC 3-2, Raptors Uprising GC downed 76ers GC 3-1, the Wizards squeezed past T-Wolves Gaming 3-2, Grizz Gaming crushed the Kings 3-0, Lakers Gaming beat the Grizz 3-2 and the T-Wolves topped the Raptors 3-2.
