DUX Infinitos and Celtics Crossover Gaming moved within one win of reaching the championship match at the NBA 2K League’s 3v3 Switch Open, each prevailing in an upper-bracket match on Friday in Washington.

Fourth-seeded DUX rallied past No. 24 Lakers Gaming 3-2, and the 11th-seeded Celtics dumped No. 2 Bucks Gaming 3-1.

The Bucks bounced back to beat top-seeded Knicks Gaming 3-1 in the sixth round of the lower bracket. Next up for the Bucks is a matchup against No. 7 T-Wolves Gaming, who eliminated the Lakers 3-0.

DUX and the Celtics will meet on Saturday in the upper-bracket final for a berth in the grand final later the same day. The DUX-Celtics loser will go up against the T-Wolves-Bucks winner in the lower-bracket final.

The 25 NBA 2K League teams, who were seeded based on qualifying results the past few weeks, were joined in the double-elimination bracket phase of the $150,000 event by seven community (amateur) teams. Each match is best-of-five.

The winner will take home $60,000, and the runner-up will get $30,000.

Brian “Killeyy” Diaz led DUX past the Lakers, averaging 12.8 points and hitting 74 percent of his field-goal attempts.

Sheriff “FT” Cruz put up 11 points per game in the Celtics’ win over the Bucks.

Dhwan “ShiftyKaii” White shot 100 percent from the floor and averaged 11 points in the T-Wolves’ rout of the Lakers.

Michael “Cooks” Campbell logged 14.3 points per game for the Bucks as they topped the Knicks.
