The NBA on Monday rescinded a technical foul that was assessed to Oklahoma City center Chet Holmgren earlier this month.

The league said that upon league office review, the technical given to Holmgren in the fourth quarter of a game on Feb. 7 had been rescinded. No explanation was given.

Holmgren was assessed the technical in the Thunder’s win over the visiting Toronto Raptors, Holmgren’s first game back in three months after suffering a pelvic fracture. Holmgren played 22 minutes and had four points, four blocks, five rebounds and two steals.

He picked up a technical foul in the immediate aftermath of his third block, quickly drawing a whistle after swatting Ja’Kobe Walter’s layup try into the hands of teammate Alex Caruso.

Holmgren, 22, is averaging 15.3 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.9 blocks in 15 starts this season.
