Before the discovery of a wild sex scandal ended Maegan Hall’s career, the Tennessee cop-gone-wild was already in danger of being fired because she frequently crashed her patrol car during her two years on the force in Tennessee.
Officer Maegan Hall and her coworkers allegedly engaged in wild sexcapades that included sending dirty pictures, stripping naked at a “Girls Gone Wild” hot tub party, and even having oral sex with two officers at the La Vergne police station, according to WTVF TV. Not only was she dismissed, but Sergeant Lewis Powell, Sergeant Ty McGowan, Officer Juan Lugo, and Detective Seneca Shields were also declared a similar fate.
One notice reportedly stated that “neglect of equipment/property” and “violation of policy and/or procedure” had occurred in December. Despite the incident, she saw her pay increase from about $39,600 to $53,000. Some of these accidents led to her being taken to the hospital as well.
Only nine months after she joined the force, in November 2021, was her first car accident. Then, in July and October 2022, she crashed once more. In one instance, Hall had answered a call reporting a threat involving weapons when she crossed “the dip at Sand Hill,” a DailyMail Exclusive reported.
Before receiving a third warning for violating policy and procedure, the second notice resulted in a written warning over continued equipment neglect. After she pulled out of the police station parking lot and crossed several lanes of traffic into the path of a van, the final accident led to a four-day suspension.
According to the report, both vehicles ended up in the middle median with significant damage to the van and the officer’s patrol vehicle. Additionally, it stated that Hall might be fired if she was “involved in another preventable crash before 10/21/2023.”
However, Hall’s career was nonetheless over after it was revealed that she was the female officer at the center of a series of sexual misadventures, including a hot tub party a la “Girls Gone Wild.” She allegedly engaged in oral sex at police headquarters and secret trysts at officers’ homes, parties, and hotels, none of which was reported to superior officers. She also claimed that she was in an “open marriage.” Co-officer Patrick Magliocco, who admitted he had had sex with Hall on several occasions, also expressed concern for her mental health, heavy drinking, and reckless driving.
Following an internal investigation, three other officers were suspended and the four male officers who were allegedly involved in the scandal were fired.
