RBC Capital analysts released their outlook on MSCI Inc. (NYSE:MSCI) ahead of the company’s upcoming Q2 earnings release.
The analysts estimate a 1% decline in Q2 average assets under management (AUM) composed of an estimated 9% decline in June along with the previously reported 1% decline in May and 9% growth in April. This represents a meaningful cut to the analyst’s previous estimate of a 5% growth.
The analysts expect Q2 revenue to be $551 million, below the Street estimate of $565 million, and EPS to be $2.58, below the Street estimate of $2.72. As a result, the analysts lowered their price target on the company’s shares to $520 from $600, while maintaining their outperform rating.
