Molina Healthcare (NYSE:MOH) reported its Q3 results last week, with EPS of $4.36 coming in better than the Street estimate of $4.20. Despite headwinds like COVID-related costs, higher utilization, and challenges from redetermination, the company reported EPS beat on consistent growth in rates and membership as well as improved operating performance.
Revenue was $7.93 billion, beating the Street estimate of $7.81 billion. Revenue growth of 12.6% year-over-year was driven by strong premium revenue from organic membership growth in Medicaid and acquisition contribution offset by slower growth in Medicare business.
For the full 2022 year, the company expects EPS of $17.75, compared to the Street estimate of $17.72, and revenue of $30.5 billion, compared to the Street estimate of $31.35 billion.
