The New England Revolution elevated defender Ben Reveno to the first team, signing the UCLA product to a one-year MLS contract Tuesday with two option years.
Reveno, 23, already has spent time with the first team, playing a U.S. Open Cup game with the Revolution against New York City FC on May 25. New England next plays June 12 at Sporting Kansas City.
A second-round pick in this year’s MLS SuperDraft, Reveno played in eight games (seven starts) with Revolution II. The California native played three seasons at UCLA before he was the 52nd overall draft pick. he began his collegiate career at UC Irvine.
