The Portland Timbers transferred midfielder Santiago Moreno to Brazilian side Fluminense on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old Colombian tallied four goals and five assists in 22 MLS matches (20 starts) for Portland in 2025.

He has recorded 22 goals and 31 assists in 146 games across all competitions since joining the Timbers in 2021, per MLS.

“We appreciate Santiago’s contributions during his time in Portland, and we wish him the best with his new opportunity,” said general manager Ned Grabavoy.

Fluminense competes in Brazil’s Serie A and recently reached the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup semifinals.
