New York Red Bulls midfielder Steven Sserwadda is out four to five months following knee surgery.
He had surgery to repair a torn medial collateral ligament in his right knee, the team announced Thursday.
Sserwadda, 20, sustained the injury while away on international duty with the Uganda national team.
He made his MLS debut on June 30, 2022, and has appeared in two matches (27 total minutes) with NYRB.
