Kei Kamara’s goal in the 92nd minute lifted the visiting Chicago Fire FC to their first win of the season, 3-2 over Inter Miami CF on Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Chris Mueller and Carlos Teran also scored for the Fire (1-1-2, five points), who were the Eastern Conference’s lone winless team. Brian Gutierrez had two assists while goalie Chris Brady made five saves for Chicago.

Franco Negri had a goal and an assist, and Nicolas Stefanelli scored for Miami (2-3-0, six points), which has dropped three straight matches. Goalie Drake Callender had two saves.

Trailing 2-1 at halftime, Miami tied the game when Stefanelli headed Negri’s cross into the back of the net in the 76th minute.

But Chicago rallied in stoppage time. After getting a pass from Javier Casas, Rodriguez delivered a perfect pass into the box to Kamara, who drove it past Callender for the game-winning goal.

Inter Miami, which had possession for 67.2 percent of the game, had 11 shots, with seven on target. The Herons completed 87.3 percent of their 589 passes.

The Fire had 17 shots, but just five were on target. Chicago completed 73.7 percent of its 278 passes.

Chicago took the lead in the 30th minute. After taking a pass from Maren Haile-Selassie along the right wing, Gutierrez centered a pass to a wide open Mueller, who roofed a shot past Callender.

The Fire doubled their lead eight minutes later, when Kacper Przybylko headed Haile-Selassie’s long free kick from well outside the penalty box to Teran, who volleyed it over Callender from just a few feet away.

Miami halved the lead in the final minute of first-half stoppage time.

Jean Mota played a beautiful high-arching pass across the field into the penalty box where Negri corralled it before driving a low shot past a diving Brady.
