FC Dallas acquire midfielder Christian Cappis from Norwegian top-flight club Viking FK on Thursday.
Dallas sent $200,000 in general allocation money to the Houston Dynamo to obtain his right of first refusal.
The 25-year-old former FC Dallas academy player is under contract through 2027 with an option for 2028.
Cappis registered 11 goals and 13 assists in 189 matches with multiple Scandinavian clubs since 2018.
