D.C. United announced the transfer of defensive midfielder Victor Palsson to KAS Eupen on Friday.
The 32-year-old Iceland international reportedly signed a three-year deal with the Belgian top-flight club.
Palsson recorded three assists in 18 MLS matches (17 starts) this season.
“We want to thank Victor for his service during his time with the club,” D.C. United president of soccer operations Dave Kasper said. “We wish him all the best in his next chapter in Belgium.”
Palsson appeared in 44 MLS matches (31 starts) with the New York Red Bulls (2012) and D.C. United (2022-23).
His pro career also includes stints in Scotland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland and Germany.
